Grover Beach Concrete was founded in 2023 right here in Grover Beach, CA - a small beach city on the Central Coast where salt air, sandy soil, and decades-old concrete are part of everyday life. The owner grew up in this area watching older homes develop cracked driveways, sunken patios, and failing flatwork that had been patched by contractors who did not understand what coastal conditions do to concrete over time.
The goal from day one was simple: do the job the right way, every time. That means pulling permits before work starts, preparing the base properly instead of cutting corners, and using materials rated for coastal exposure. It also means being straight with homeowners about what their project will cost and how long it will take - before anyone picks up a shovel.
Since 2023, Grover Beach Concrete has served homeowners and property owners across Grover Beach and the surrounding Five Cities area, including Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, and Oceano - plus communities as far as San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, and Goleta. Every job gets the same level of care, whether it is a small backyard patio or a full commercial parking lot.
We pull the required city permits before any job starts and coordinate every inspection. Your project is fully documented and above board, which matters when you sell or refinance.
We tell you upfront how long your project will take - from pour day to when you can use the surface again. No vague answers, no chasing us for updates.
We know what salt air and sandy soil do to concrete over time. Every job we do is spec'd for the Central Coast environment, with materials and sealers rated for coastal exposure.
Your written estimate covers everything: demolition, base prep, the pour, finishing, and cleanup. The number you agree to is the number you pay - no surprises after the work starts.
Serving Grover Beach since 2023.
We hold a California C-8 Concrete Contractor License issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). This license is required for any concrete job valued at $500 or more in the state and can be verified at the CSLB website.
We carry general liability insurance on every job we take. If something unexpected happens on your property during the work, you are protected - not left to sort it out on your own.
A contractor bond gives you additional financial protection in the event of incomplete or defective work. Bonding is a condition of the California CSLB license and part of operating legally in this state.
Based in Grover Beach, we work throughout San Luis Obispo County and into Santa Barbara County, covering 12 communities on the Central Coast.
